William C. Kennedy born 11/20/1844 died ?
His parents were: John Young Kennedy and Martha D. He was born in Cedar County Missouri. He had two sisters: Mary J and and Martha P. He enlisted at Stocton,Missouri 12/ 1/1861. He was assigned to the 5th Regiment Northern army. When his term expired, he was discharged at Little Rock, Arkansas 12/20/1864 He married and I am not sure of his wife's name or when married. They had these children and maybe more: Franklin C. born 1866, Rhoda A.,Elsie Jane born 12/23/1878. Died 6/19/1962 Helen born? Died? and Walter Scott born 1875 died near Colorado Springs. Colo about 1933. After his wife's death and several years later he married Emma. They were admitted to the Soldiers Home at Fort Dodge, Kansas 6/11/1920. He left by O.R. request 2/26/1922 |
