Professional Portfolio

Home

My portfolio contains documents and work samples that highlight my learning experiences and professional development as an educator and a school psychology graduate student at The College of William and Mary.  In addition to my resume, transcripts and references, I have included a professional statement that captures my experiences as a special education teacher and educational diagnostician as well as my future goals as a certified school psychologist.

I completed my Master’s Degree in school psychology in 1997-98 and I am currently completing my school psychology internship, the final requirement before I graduate in May. 2007.

After I earned my Master’s Degree in 1998, I returned to teaching in Suffolk Public Schools, where I am currently completing my school psychology internship.  After teaching for three years, I worked as an educational diagnostician until this year, when I started my internship.  The flexibility I have enjoyed, during my tenure as an educator has allowed me to work with my colleagues on the design and implementation of innovative programs designed to enhance student learning.  Aspects of these programs correlate to the eleven competency requirements established by the National Association of School Psychologists. Therefore, my portfolio contains components of these projects and selected work samples from my coursework at William and Mary to demonstrate my evolving competence as a school psychologist
