Imagine standing at the beginning of a corridor about the length of a football field. On all sides of you are pieces of artwork that are thousands of years old. Paintings, sculptures, and mosaics, it will be impossible to give every piece the full amount of attention it deserves. You close your eyes to imagine what the artist must have been feeling while creating these masterpieces not knowing that one day they would be a part of history. This is how I felt when I was granted the opportunity to visit Rome and explore the Vatican Museums. Centuries of Spiritual Art are displayed within the walls of the Vatican.
