SEPTEMBER 25, 2007…TIGERS STING THE HORNETS The Tigers remained undefeated to start the 07/08 season with a concvincing 4-0 victory over the Mississauga Hornets. Unlike there previous game that was filled with penalties this game had a quicker pace with the Tigers dominating play from the opening whistle. Despite their many chances they were unable to capitalize until the 6:00 mark. David Canavan buried one into the net on a nice pass from Davis Stan. Then at 2:16 Jace McGrath finished off another scoring chance to give the Tigers the 1st period lead 2-0. In the 2nd Period Kyle Morrison continued his strong play along the boards. With linemates Ray Cadeau and David Gallo this line is starting to be a dominating force. Thye were rewarded for their hard work on a picture perfect tic (Cadeau) tac (Morrison) toe Gallo). Matt Emanuele denied all shots head his way, holding the Hornets off the score sheet for 2 periods. After the flood the Tigers off season conditioning program was very evident as they were relentless in their skating, ofen beating there opponents to both ends of the ice. David Gallo notched his 2nd of the game on a deflected attempted pass that found it's way behind the Hornets goaltender. The 5th and final goal of the game was scored by Kyle Morrison after receiving a pass from Cadeau and Gallo. Congratulations for a well played game.
