Well yours truly walked into the Vic Johnston Arena just as the Sharks scored their 1st goal of the game early in the 3rd period. Up until that point the Tigers held on to a slim 2-0 lead with goals by Adam Galbraith and David Gallo, but with the Sharks goal the momentum swung in favour of the visitors. Far from the last meeting between these teams when the Sharks were out manned and out scored 6-0.

What I observed was a very determined Shark's team. They were rewarded with not just the tieing but also the winning goal late in the 3rd. Clearly the Sharks were sending a message and with their victory they moved closer to a playoff position. There is no doubt that there is parity in the Minor Midget division this year and no team can be taken for granted.

While it was a disappointing ending to the game, let's hope our Tigers can find some positives and are prepared to battle the league leading Jets on Saturday.
