The Streetsville Tigers came back from a 2-2 tie against the York Toros last Friday to defeat them 3-2 Sunday night at Vic Johnston arena. This left them undefeated in December...okay it's there only game so far this month but it counts too! Similar to the Friday night the Tigers opened the scoring, actually scored the 1st 3 goals of the game.

Tigers got off to a strong start with David Gallo redirecting a shot from Derrick Johnson for the Tigers first goal. Then Derrick Johnson shot the puck on a rush from the blue line that beat the Toros goaltender cleanly. Justin Iskra rounded out the Tigers scoring to put the Tigers ahead 3–0.

The Tigers dominated for the first 2 periods including the defense blocking several shots. Those that did get through were blocked by "Bear" who kept the Toros scoreless through 2 periods.

Although the Toro’s came back to score 2 late goals it wasn’t enough. Back to back strong performances by Conor Clark and Matt Emanuele helped the Tigers earn 3 out of a possible 4 points against the Toros & undefeated for the month of December.

A strong effort by David Canavan who helped out on forward, as they were still short up front. A special welcome back to Dustin who kept the Toros on there heels all game.

All in all a strong effort by the Tigers including Mark Shiozaki who played his best game since returning to the Tigers lineup. Of course the strong play of Ray & Cathy Cadeau in the sound booth needs to be recognized as they were definitely a force to be reckoned with as the stands were initially were very quiet with the absence of Bruce Johnson who is in Vegas whooping it up with Kathy.
