September 28, 2006... TIGERS LOSE THEIR 1ST GAME OF THE SEASON
The Streetsville Tigers Bantam AA were defeated tonight by the Toronto Eagles 3-0 to suffer their 1st loss of the season. After starting with 2 consecutive wins against the Mississauga Terriers and Vaughan Panthers the Tigers entered tonight's game with the momentum in their favour.

The Tigers fell behind early in the 1st period and were unable to regain the upper-hand on the determined Eagles.

After the game many of the Tigers players seem disappointed with their performance. Mark Shiozaki was notably upset and when asked how the game went he responded with "we didn't have enough intensity".

With each defeat comes many lessons learned and with the encouragement and determination of the coaches and support of each other the Tigers will undoubtedly bounce back from the loss.

With the defeat the Tigers are now 2-1 and prepare for a busy upcoming week with games against the Etobicoke Canucks and Toronto Royals.

(My apologies for the abbreviated game summary but I arrived with only 3 minutes left in the game. The real highlight of the game for me was getting a parking spot close to the front door...woohoo!!!)
