Despite a recent scoring frenzy over the weekend the Streetsville Tigers find themselves fighting for their playoff lives. with york toros defeating the West Mall Lightning last night the best the Tigers can hope for is a tie for 8th. That will only happen if the Toros lose their remaining 3 games and the Tigers win theirs. Over the weekend the Tigers scored a total of 15 goals in 2 games while winning against the Mississauga Braves and Mississauga Hornets. In the game against the Braves the Tigers won by a decisive 9-0 final score. Hat tricks by Jace McGrath and Dustin Hayward and singles by Ryan Johnston, Adam Galbraith and Ray Cadeau rounded out the scoring. In the game against the Hornets the Tigers scored 6 goals while giving up 3. The Tigers now prepare for a return match against the Hornets on Thursday.
