Family Guy: The Game Platforms: Xbox, Playstation 2, PSP Release Dates: October 10th 2006 USA Playable Characters: Peter Griffin, Brian Griffin, Stewie Griffin The Background For over a year, the Family Guy Community heard the word of there being a Family Guy Game and now, it's nearly complete and ready to be sold. The game keeps very much to the values of the show, you can play as one of three of the popular Griffin characters who each have a different story they follow. The cast from the show also provide voices for the game. Peter's Story It's said Peter, the person who will have control of him, will have to fight Mr.Belverdere. This being a show that was around during the late 80s. A reference from the show would be that of Stewie loudly singing out the theme as the characters in the background cut out the episode he is watching. Brian's Story During gameplay from Brian, the player has to escape from prison and free Brian's name. This may refer to a very early episode, Season One's "Brian: Portait of a Dog ". He was arrested in the episode and tried to be realised, his sentence was death. Much later, in Season Three's "Screwed the Pooch", Brian came close to being neutered by Carter's wishes. Stewie's Story Stewie's mission is to fight his rival sperm brother Bertram. This refers, for the first time in the episode "Emission Impossible" where Stewie shrinks and stops Lois and Peter from giving birth to anymore children, he comes face to face with Bertram in a face off. More recently, in the 4th season, he battled again in "Sibling Rivarly". Facts It's slatted that over 200 characters make cameo appearances. For example, Herbert, Quagmire, even new character Opie, who bit Peter's finger... and the Evil Monkey'll judge the player with his evil pointing finger.
