Pray
More than any other support we covet your prayers! That you would partner with us in prayer blesses us beyond words. The Bible teaches us that prayer is powerful and effective and that we can accomplish so much just through prayer. (James 5:16, Matthew 21:22, Mark 11:24, Acts 12:1-17) We know that when you lift us up in prayer God can do mighty things. Like the Apostle Paul we say “Pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ.”

Serve
There are always opportunities to serve God through ministry. In the parable of the Sheep and the Goats (Matthew 25:31-46) Jesus says that whatever we do for the least, we do as unto the Lord. Whatever ministry you are involved in, whether clothing the poor, feeding the hungry, or teaching little children that, yes, Jesus loves them, we are serving God and furthering His kingdom. If you are looking for a way to serve we have several ministries that you can be involved with. Currently we are looking for Sunday school teachers and kids church helpers, both for the Sunday morning 10:45 service and the Wednesday night service at 7:00; help at the 7 PM Wednesday youth group; help with snow removal in the Winter and yard maintenance in the Spring, Summer, and Fall; help with general weekly cleaning; and help with cooking, serving, and cleaning up at the Wednesday free meal. In the summer we always need help at our summer outreach events, Vacation Bible School and Community BBQ's. These are just a few things you can do if you are looking for a way to minister; there are always more ministries in need of help. Donate
Many people have the mistaken view that churches are rich through the tithes of people attending and have a lot of money to spare. This may be true of some churches but in actuality most churches struggle to make ends meet. Our church is one of those churches that struggle financially. The money coming in from tithes and offerings cover utility bills and insurance payments, but there is very little left over for things like Sunday school curriculum, craft supplies, snacks for kids, and other items the church uses for various ministries. If you can help either with a monetary donation or donating items we are in need of we would appreciate it so much. Items we can always use more of are snack items for kids church (such as graham crackers, peanut butter, apple juice, string cheese, etc.), paper plates and cups, non-perishable food items for emergency food boxes, copier paper, arts and crafts supplies, small toys to give out as prizes, and NIV or NIrV Bibles to give away.
