I have four kids and the last three years have been a nightmare. I resigned from a good paying job because I was offer a better job that would give me management experience. The new company was violating labor laws and I was forced to call the labor board on them. I ended up unemployed for three weeks. I took the first job I was offered but I took a $3 pay cut. Because of the pay cut I lost my house to forclosure. We were homeless with our 4 children for about 2 weeks before we found a rental. I have been putting in resumes for the last four months but I cannot find a job locally that pays better.
About 2 weeks ago I was offered a job several states away that pays $3 hour more than what I make now, but we don't have the money to move.
