KNOW YOUR NEIGHBOURS Thurs Oct 15 7.30 -9.30 pm Do you know those who live around you? Would you like to know more about what happens in your village? Drop into the Church Hall for drinks and nibbles to say hello – no agenda, no strings, just a chance to meet others from the area. “Know your neighbours” Carol Singing. Friday Dec 11th 6 -7.30pm starting at the Church Hall then moving around the village. Collection In aid of Crisis. Sunday 1st November 10 am ALL SAINTS Parish Communion . A celebration of the light of God that shines in all his saints, living and departed. ALL SOULS SPECIAL SERVICE Sunday 1st November 6.30 pm A gentle service of hymns, readings and prayers to remember and give thanks for those we love who have died. There will be a chance during the service for you to light a candle in memory of anyone special to you, and for them to be remembered by name in our prayers. ADVENT SUNDAY UNITED SERVICE WITH SEAL, ST LAWRENCE AND UNDERRIVER November 29th 6.00pm At St Margaret, Underriver (no evening service at Seal) An evening service of Light to mark the beginning of Advent, with the joint choirs of St Peter and Paul, St Lawrence and Underriver churches. MESSY CHURCH FOR ADVENT Sunday Nov 22 4.00 to 5.30pm Special Advent and Christmas activities and worship for all ages. For more details see “Messy Church for Harvest”, above. ADVENT “BREATHING SPACE” Thursdays 3rd, 10th and 17th Dec at 8pm Quiet, contemplative, services of Holy Communion in the Lady Chapel. These candlelit services will have a short address, lots of silence, and a little recorded music. A chance to stop and re-focus amidst the busy preparations for Christmas. VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS ENTERTAINMENT Friday Dec 4th in the Village Hall Details to be confirmed – look out for posters or check the church website nearer the time.
