West Lothian

Town: Linlithgow
Group Name: Sangschule
Meets at: Staff Room, Linlithgow Academy, Braehead Road, Linlithgow.
Day/Time: Wednesday 7:30 to 9:30
Contact: Susan Streater 01506 843592 susan.streater@hotmail.co.uk
Other information: One of the older of the community song groups in Scotland, Sangschule celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2009. We have a mixture of musical activities - lots of great tutoring from the likes of Gordeanna McCulloch, Eileen Penman and Susie Kelly, as well as sessions led by some of the more experienced members of the group. While we are not primarily a performance group, we do occasionally get out and about for charity events, and always try to have a strong presence at our local get-togethers - the 'Singers' Gathering' and 'Muckle Sing' events jointly organised by West Lothian Council and the Edinburgh and Lothians branch of the TMSA.
