Winchester Model 64 .30 WCF IMP 24 Inch Barrel. Pre 64 SN 1327xxx. This one must have been reblued, but they did a fantastic job with no blurring of the lettering. There is one small scratch (1/4 inch) in the bluing on the side of the receiver. The finish is deep blue-black. The gun has been restocked and there were small patches made next to the tang. They did a great job here too, but one of the patches is now missing. The foreend may be the original, look at the pictures and decide. The rear sight is a Marbles brand and there is a nice looking ramp type front sight on the rifle. I too wish it was all original, but you won’t find a nicer one that has been redone. Check the serial number; the previous owner said it dates from the early ‘40’s.
