Roommate Wanted for February 1, 2010

  • Address: 4816 49 Ave NW, Calgary
  • Hello,

My name is Paul and I created this site as I was a student recently and know how hard it is to find a good place to live; hopefully this will make it easier for everyone ;) I used to live in this house and recently moved out but still own the house and I rent out furnished rooms.

If you want a fully set-up house with everything you need, 10 min drive or a 15 minute C-Train ride to downtown then this place is for you.

The people that live in the house are all super cool, working people or students. Age range is 23 to 30. Everyone is non-smoking and we have no pets. Please understand that we want to keep the house pet free ;) we are not mean it is just because of allergies. Everyone does thier own thing, ranging from doing hikes in the mountains to going for a few drinks on a Saturday night. The house is a 2000 sq-ft house near the Calgary university. The basement is brand new, gutted and rebuilt 2 year ago (see the pictures). The house is not a party house but we do have keggers and BBQ's in the summer time.

The house has a brand new washer and dryer, 2 fridges, dishwashing machine, 2 TVs, 2 DVDs, 2 computers (wireless network), 2.5 bathrooms, 5 minute walk to the Dalhouise CTrain station, 10 minute walk to the second largest mall (Market Mall) in Calgary with with Safeway, The Bay, GAP and numerous other stores.

There is 1 available rooms downstairs to share with the male. It is furnished with a queen bed and all the linens and bedsheets that you might need. Looking for someone that is 21+ in age... no 18 year olds.

People that live here are Scott (vet student at UofC), Rohan (Commerce studnet), Javier (Chemistry PHD stduent), Fred (City of Calgary worker) and you possibly ! .

Another question that arises is... Can my boyfriend or girlfriend sleep over? or can visitors stay over if they are visiting the city? Of course they can, we all need some love ;) As long as they are not living permenantly there it's all cool.

Everyone has their own schedule and we all respect "normal" sleeping hours. If you do work night shifts or have an unusual schedule that is all cool as long as you don't do laundry or bang pots in the kitchen at 3am ;) We are a really easy going household, there are no written rules.

If you want to see a picture of me, Paul... check out my photography side business company... www.rightaperture.com
