Lung Cancer Treatment Research

Looks like the standards are chemo (not very effective) and radiation.  I’m going to research alternatives as well

Tarceva:   EGF receptor inhibitor?

Celebrex:  Lots of data that seem to support either as a preventative or to use in addition to chemo.

Selenium:  Good data on this for prevention.  Could it help for treatment?  The original study is quite old.  Need to look for newer data.  200 mg is the daily dose.

Green Tea:  Sounds like for prevention it’s good.  Need to look more to see if a concentrated version can help with treatment
