Julie and I wondered upon the Antietam Battlefield while on a road trip. here is a little lesson in history. Ok dont want to bore you, just imagine these pictures from sept 17, 1862...with lots of dead bodies since it was the bloodiest single day battle in the entire civil war Basically I just like the pictures
The union actually got there sept 16th but waited a while to attack...lots more history here..this was key Evidently this is where Major Cenebal died (i think thats what it says) Barbed wire...definately was there when the soldiers fought More wire. Picture needs some serious burning and dodging, but its a digital camera watcha gonna do This is the post where General Robert E. Lee sat and counted the fallen men...a VERY important post More fence Ok, I know I'm gullable, but I'm pretty sure this fence was NOT there during the battle Alright, I'm not pointing fingers...but SOMEONE stole the logo and I think it was the union I thought this was cool Julie taking the picture seen below Fence again Its not a rachel page without a picture of the sky Someone tired to cut this sign down with an axe...CLEARLY the original white house THIS is the line where the north and the south met the barn...we looooooved the barns Me doing a little re-enacting...I think i just got shot Julie Getting struck by a cannon ball 1...2...3...DRAW! I guess Julie was victorious here Julie running from the confederate army! RUN JULIE RUN! Me and the fence Hats off to the union! SHEEEEEEEEEP Well..they say its a church
