Chapter 8

Marshall
I was sitting on the bed in the bedroom basking in the glory of what I just accomplished. I spoke to him. I told him how much I loved him and wanted to be with him. He now knew about the physical way were going to express our love some day soon.

"Austin, I spoke with Taylor," I told my son as he dragged our belongings into the room.

"I know Dad you told me," He said quietly.

"Aren't you excited about all of this Austin?"

He looked at me strangely and then smiled a little, "Yeah."

His face was still bruised from the beating I was forced to give him when he had to be an insubordinate brat. He had to try and use that phone, well now it's his fault that he is in pain. "You better pack everything I tell you too do you understand?" I said sternly.

"Yes sir," It seemed that beating had finally knocked the fight out of him.

I couldn't believe I had heard his beautiful voice. It was amazing. This whole situation was amazing. Now all I had to do was wait to hear from Joe. He was supposed to call me back to let me know the details fo what he set up for me.

It's good to have connections in the right places. My cell phone rang and I reached over to pick it up. "Hello?"

"Your flight leaves on Tuesday," Joe's voice said threw the receiver.

"And when are they flying in?"

"Friday."

"And my accommodations?" he was silent for a moment and that told me he didn't have good news, "I found a place that will accommodate a long stay," he said.

"Where is it located?"

He cleared his throat "On 60th street. It's very, very nice!"

"I could careless what it looks like. What I want to know is where they are staying?" he knew I wasn't paying around.

I was giving him a lot of money to keep him out of trouble with some bad people. "They are staying at the Trump on Central Park West. I tried to get you a room but it was impossible!" I'm not in the same hotel I could break his friggin neck.

"I thought you understood what I wanted, what I asked for?" I kept my tone straight.

Losing my temper on the phone would get me know where. "Listen they are staying on the floor that Mercury owns, that’s the only way they are staying there,” He explained.

“Well, that’s all fine and dandy but I’m not there and Joseph, that’s where I want to be. So I think it would be in your best interest to get me into that hotel.”

“Marshall, I promise you I’ll do my best.”

I just laughed into the phone. "Do your best? No Joe, you will do whatever it take to get me what I want or else something very, very bad will happen to you. You need this money more then you think and if you want it, you better get it for me. Understand?”

I heard him breath in hard, “Ughh... yeah,” he said.

I knew he was trying to figure out something to do and all I have to say is he better.
