They were nervous about doing it and Taylor knew the only reason why was because of what' been going on. They have never said anything before it started and now it was a big deal. He had to beg them to let him but they eventually gave in.
They took Mackie, Avery and Jessie with them and Zac and him were the only ones here. Taylor had been having a bit of a melody in his head and he wanted to go work it out for a little while, so he decided that was what he was going to do.
He settled into the basement studio and started playing the melody that he was hearing, jotting down notes as he went. It was flowing the music was easy when it flowed.
H He sat there for a few minutes chewing on his cookies and he heard the piano going down stairs. Taylor must have been working on a new song because it was unfamiliar to him. When he was finished he was gonna go join him.
Then the phone rang and Zac knew he had to answer it cause Taylor probably didn't even hear it. "Hello?" he said into the receiver.
"Hi, Zac. How are you?” the voice asked on the other end.
“Umm... hi,” Zac said cautiously.
He knew not to talk to someone he didn’t know and this voice was not familiar at all. “It would be so kind of you to put Taylor on the phone ok?”
Zac got nervous suddenly. “Who is this?” he asked.
The man laughed, “Im a good friend of Taylor’s. So please be a good boy and just get your brother for me?” What should he do? Should he get Taylor or should he tell him he is not here? But then if he did that, the man would know he was home by himself. Taylor was in charge that was what he had to do. “Hold on,” he told him and put the phone down.
He walked down the basement steps, “Taylor,” he said.
“Yeah Zac?”
“Someone is on the phone for you,” he told him quietly, “He wouldn’t tell me who it is. He just said he was a friend of yours.”
Taylor swallowed nervously and in the pit of his stomach he just felt that something wasn’t right. As he walked up the stairs he looked at Zac and could see the nervousness in his eyes. “Hello?” he said as he picked up the phone in the kitchen.
“Oh yes!” the man exclaimed, “Hi Taylor.”
Taylor stood still for a moment. He didn’t know this man. Who the hell was it? “Umm... do I know you?”
There was a laugh, “Do you know me? Well of course you know me Taylor. It’s me your love your’s truely.”
Taylor almost feel over right there. Zac could see him lose all color in his face and he knew Taylor was scared and that just made him scared. “Taylor what’s going on?” he asked.
Taylor didn’t know where he was, what time it was, anything. All he knew was his worst fears had just come true. The man writing the letters was real, very real and he knew both Taylor’s phone number but also where he lived. “Taylor are you there?” he asked on the line.
“Ugh...” was all he could get out.
“Good I have wait so long to talk to you love. You have only been a fantasy to me but now you’re a reality. Your there talking to me!”
“Leave me alone,” he said barely audible.
“Leave you alone? Why would.... oh don’t be scared baby. I know it’s so much to take in but I love you Taylor. Good I love you. And I can’t wait for the day when we can be together. I’m gonna touch every inch of you. Worship every spot of skin and your beautiful untouched body,” he said his voice getting huskier with each syllable.
Taylor felt the tears weld up in his eyes and couldn’t control them when they broke over. He could have just hung up but he couldn’t bring himself to move. He was frozen like a statue. Zac saw his brother stiffen and begin to cry. He knew there was something terribly wrong.
“Please...” he begged as he kept crying.
“I know love, I know. I am so happy too. I just can’t wait to show you the joys my body is going to bring yours. I’m gonna watch you take in my entire length in your mouth and bring me to a pleasure indescribable and then I’m going to show you what it is like. God Taylor, I want to taste every last drop of your sweet juices from that half boy half man cock of yours.”
The vial rose in his throat and he tried to keep himself from vomiting everywhere. “Please!” he said a little louder as his body began to slump towards the floor.
He was crying so hard, he was having trouble breathing. “I can’t wait to take your innocents Taylor. I know you have never made love to anyone especially a man before and I can’t wait to watch the look of pain and pleasure spread across your face as I entire you the first time,” he was turned on, Taylor could hear it in his voice.
Taylor brought his knees to his chest and began to shake violently. This was real very real and for the first time in his life he felt pure terror. “Leave me alone!” he yelled chocking on his own tears and saliva.
“Never Taylor. I will die first before I let you go. You’re my love my one and only. .I love you Taylor! I love you!” Marshall yelled to him, getting angry.
“NO!!!” he screamed and the phone feel to the floor.
Taylor buried his head in his hands and screamed, wailed and cried all at once. Zac came over and got down in front of Taylor, “What is it Tay? What’s wrong?” he was about to have a panic attack.
“No, no, no....” Taylor wailed not removing his face from his hands.
“Hello? Where are you? Taylor!?” Zac could hear the man say threw the phone laying on the floor.
“It’s him Zac. It’s that guy that’s writing me letters,” he said still muffled through his hands.
Zac face got wide. He might have only been eleven, but he understood what that meant. His brother was in danger, real live danger. He had to do something. He had to help Taylor till his parents got home. “Don’t ever call here again!” he said into the phone and hung up.
“Why? Why is he doing this?” Taylor cried to himself.
“It’s gonna be ok Taylor. It’s gonna be ok,” he reassured his big brother.
Zac wasn’t sure if it was going to be ok, but he knew that was what he had to tell Taylor. He would protect the both of them till his parents got home even if he didn’t know how or with what, but nobody was getting to Taylor without going threw him.
"Yes baby. I'm sure everything is fine." He wasn't stupid he knew I was saying it to try to give myself some kind of reassurance.
We walked up to the house and my husband opened our front door with the key. At least my boys were smart enough to lock the door if they were going to go to the basement. Walker pushed open the door and then came into view was Zachary holding a baseball bat ready to strike. I almost feel over. "Zachary!! What the hell are you doing?" Walker yelled jumping back.
He slowly put the bat down and I could see his young body shaking. "I.. I'm sorry..." he said looking lost.
"Jessica take Avery and Mackie upstairs right now ok? Right now!" I said.
She took there hands and left the room with them. As soon as they were out of earshot Walker reached down and grabbed the bat from him. "Are you insane?!" he asked.
"I just... he said he was gonna get Taylor. I had to protect him." I turned to my husband nervously.
I knew he was thinking the same thing I was thinking. "He who, Zac?" he asked in a much softer tone.
"That guy that's writing him letters. He called here and talked to Taylor." I almost collapsed.
I had to grab a hold of the wall so I wouldn't have just fallen. I heard something tense in Walker's throat when he spoke again. "That man called here and spoke to Taylor, you're sure?" he was touching Zac's shoulders and looking deep into his eyes.
"Yes, I talked to him too. Taylor was really upset Mommy and I just didn't know what else to do so I hung up and told him to never call here again."
He had turned to me halfway threw and was pleading with me like he had done something wrong. "That is exactly what you should have done!"
Walker said grabbing him again, "That was very smart of you!" he pulled him into an embrace.
"How long ago did he call?"
"Like an hour ago." Walker turned to me, "I'm going to have them trace the calls."
I nodded and hugged Zac to me. "It's ok. You were very brave and helpful but it's ok now. Mom and Dad are here and you don't have to worry about this anymore. But you did a great job trying to help and I'm very proud of you." he nodded.
It broke my heart that at his age he understood the severity of the situation. I touched his little face, "Where's Taylor baby?" I asked.
"I took him upstairs to lay down," I brushed his hair with my fingers.
"Your such a sweetheart. Can you do me a favor?"
"Sure."
"Go with Jessica and watch Avery and Mackenzie for a little while." I watched him leave the room and then I took a deep breath and headed up to my boys' room.
I knocked lightly and pushed it open, "Taylor?" I asked silently.
He didn't respond. I saw him facing the wall his knees brought up to his chest. "Taylor baby. It's Mom," I fought back the urge to cry.
I could feel his pain from here and it killed me that there was nothing I could do to fix it. I sat down on his bed gently and placed my hand on his back, "Zac told us he called."
I heard him sniffle and I felt him shake a little beneath me. "There is no reason to be scared. Your father and I are gonna put a trace on the phone call and your Dad is just gonna reason to be scared. Your father and I are gonna put a trace on the phone call and get the best security we can to make sure your safe," I assured him.
I heard him breath in deeply and then he turned to face me. His eyes were blood shot and his face was tear stained. "You can't guarantee that," he said his voice sounding hoarse and caught in his throat.
"I most certainly can! Do you think I would let anything happen to you?" He squeezed his eyes closed and shook his head.
"This is not about you letting it happen. You aren't always going to be here to make everything better!"
"Taylor," I was shocked and grabbed him wanting him to sit up so I could hold him better, "I would die before I would..."
"NO Mom. You don't get it. He wants me. He wants to do things to me that I couldn't even repeat if I had to. He got our address and my phone number and I think he's gonna get me! This guy is for real. For Real and there is nothing that is going to stop him!" he was yelling now.
His shoulders hunched over and sobbed into his hands. I couldn't hold back my tears now after seeing him in this much pain. I wrapped my arms around him completely and yanked him to me.
There was nothing else for me to say. He wouldn't believe me anyway. I just held him and let him grip me for dear life as he let it out. "I will do whatever it takes to protect you Taylor. It may not be enough but you have to remember that we will do whatever we can. And he will have to kill me before he puts his hands on you," I swore to him and he just cried into me even more.
His crying stopped and I felt his body limp in my arms and I knew he had cried himself to sleep. I laid him down softly on the bed, placing the covers over his body and kissed his forehead. I knew when I left that room I was going to lose what I was holding the whole time I comforted my son and that's exactly what happened.
"It's ok, we will just screen phone calls," I said looking into the cabinets.
I needed coffee. Drinking wasn't the answer right now. He laughed, "I always thought we kept our children safe when they were between these walls."
"Walker this isn't our fault. We did everything in our power to have protected our boys," I told him.
I was trying to keep myself from needing pity. I wasn't gonna start feeling sorry for me when my son had things a lot worse right now. "Did we Di, did we?" he asked looking dead in my eye and taking another chug from his beer.
I felt myself heat up and I ran towards him and ripped the bottle out of his hand. "How dare you feel sorry for yourself at a time like this! Your son is about to have a nervous break down upstairs and your down here feeling sorry for the way we may or may not have raised our children!" I was furious.
It wasn't completely fair considering I had pent up a lot of frustration over the past week or so, but I was already going and I didn't know how to stop. "I don't know what to do Di!" he said his eyes filling with tears.
I can't tell you the last time I have seen my husband cry. "Be a man and a Father and worry about him!" I said about to cry myself.
Without warning he jumped up and wrapped his arms around me holding me tightly. I buried my face into his neck and cried again today. It felt nice to be held and know that I have him to lean on.
