Exhausted and disoriented from 9 hours of flying, I eventually found a payphone. I had no money so I used my debit card to call Josh. He gave me directions to his house, which involved a bus and two trains.
Once I arrived at Josh's nearest train station, he took me to his place--a 35 minute walk with all my luggage. Ouch.
Fortunately, the night improved. Josh paid for my groceries and made me a delicious Greek salad, even using his homemade dressing recipe! We spent the night singing, telling life stories, and even crying together. It was a beautiful beginning to my trip.
