My Part Of The Web! |

In Memory of my dad |
Welcome to my page. My name is Randy
and I live in the Heart of Dixie. For those of you that don't know
where that is, it's in central Alabama. Here's a little bit about
myself; I turned 40 back in November. On March 3, 2003 I had heart
surgery to replace a main heart valve. I will have to say
that 03-03-03 is my lucky number, lol.
I have 2 boys, ages 20 and 15,
that mean more to me than my own life. They are alot like that
other kids, however, sometimes they don't quite go down the right
road. Even so, you can't just throw up your hands and say, "I
quit." Sometimes you have to look around and see just how lucky you
are to have healthy kids and thank the good Lord for that! So many
aren't even that lucky.
2005, however, hasn't been too
good of a year for me. Unfortunatley, I lost my dad this past
summer. He had been fighting one illness after another, being sick
since the mid 90's. God rest his soul; he went though hell!
My mom's health is not the best.
She had thoat cancer back in 2000 and has not totally bounced back
from it. Everyday I have to go over to her house and clean out her
throat several times a day, but, I won't go into details about
that. I have two brothers and one sister that I very rarely see and
who don't even help with our mother.
I didn't write this to get
anyone down or to have anyone feel sorry for me or my family. This
is just my life in a nut shell and I felt like I needed to tell the
story. I know that there are a lot of other people out there
that are worse off then me. This is just something I needed to get
into writing.
Who knows, maybe 2006 will be a
better year for me. I am certainly hopeful that my future will be
brighter. If you would like to share your ups or downs in life with
me I would love to hear from you. Sometimes just putting something
in writing helps to get a new perspective on life and what's really
important!
