Committee Reports:
Block of the Month: Due to the skipped meeting in December, Liz Mattingly said the next block will be “Log Cabin” and the following month we will do a “Heart” block. Be sure to check Bunny’s website for the current block. Please keep the background of your block a neutral color: light tan, off-white…and make the heart red. Finished block should measure 12-1/2”.
Christmas Fair: Lillian Cravens reported the total sales - $595.99. Total expenses were $175.02. Lillian offered to be in charge of the Fair in 2007. Recommended changes:
a) A sign should be posted letting people know there is food for sale in the kitchen & to eat only in the assigned area.
b) Small bags of chips should be served with hot dogs.
c) Canned soda should be sold instead of bottled soda.
d) The price of baked goods/candy should be raised.
e) Cookies/Candy should be labeled “with nuts” or “without nuts”.
f) We need large tongs and soup spoons.
