RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
--------------------------------------
1.Major thesis: M.Tech
(Chemical Engineering)
Title : "Hydrodynamics and
Heat transfer studies in pressurized circulating Circulating
Fuidized bed".
Guide : Dr. R. K. Saha, prof. & Head of Dept. of
Chemical Engg, IIT,Kharagpur
Duration : July 2002 to January
2003
Investigation is aimed to study the effect of pressure &
other relevant parameters on bed hydrodynamics & heat transfer in the riser
column. Experiments have been carried out in
the pressurized circulating fluidized bed bench scale unit with
different pressure ranging from 2-6 bar, gas superficial velocity ranging from
0.2-1.2 m/s, different % of primary and secondary air ranging from 100-30%
(keeping total gas superficial velocity constant) and temperature ranging from
200-400°c.
Worked on the following Equipments
FERMENTER (5-liter
capacity)
UV SPECTROPHOTOMETER
ELECTROPHORESIS UNIT
ULTRA FILTRATION UNIT
PCR
GEL DOCUMENTATION SYSTEM
Techniques
Media preparation & isolation.
