God never had

A chance to rest

He was always being

Put to the test

Not once did he utter

Nor complain

But He helped others again

And again

Here I sit

Fighting between myself

Feeling guilty

Then placing it on a shelf

Yes and then no

I'm right , then I'm wrong

And never sure how bad or lasts...how long

Then a friend came to me

On her shoulder I cried

She showed me the light

And I reached and I tried

Now no matter how bad

I can at last see

I have my friends

And the Lord sure has me
