Another Holiday -Another Year

Thanksgiving time

another year

to be near family

and friends so dear

But while we are eating

and saying thank you

let us remember

those not with you

Those who have gone home

to site by the gate

and those who are away

at war and must wait

When saying your grace

and giving praise

remember those less fortunate

and their spirits please raise

Remember the families

who have lost their loved one

and remember our enlisted

who work from sun to sun

Enjoy what you have

you can reap what you sow

but never forget

those you love and you know
