History
Owens Family Retrievers started as a project. After the first litter, we enjoyed the puppy process so much that we decided to make it a business. Heidi was our first Golden Retriever. We have raised Heidi since she was eight weeks old and quickly fell in love with the Golden breed. We decided to keep two (Rufus and Tyra) of her first eight puppies. Our future plans include having at least one more litter with Heidi. Also, we plan to get a couple of litters out of Tyra. We are also planning on using Rufus as a stud dog.
