BLS FOR HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS

This is the most advanced CPR class available, and is geared is for Physicians, Nurses, Medical students, Nursing students, Dentists, and their staff. This class will cover 2010 HCP AHA guidelines. Individuals who work in the medical field or in rescue helping careers (firemen, policemen, lifeguards) should take this professional level class. There are 26 skills, a written exam and a practical exam to complete for the two year American Heart Association card which now includes certification in AED, team rescue techniques and Bag-Valve-Mask application on all three age groups. There are 2 types of classes:

• Healthcare Provider (HCP) Certification (for the 1st timers)

  
  

• Healthcare Provider Renewal Course (Participants should hold a current HCP card))
