Translation

Starting in 2006 season  we stated to show our dogs in the ring all over the Pacific Northwest. Our 1st year we finished the titles on 1 AKC Champion, 1 UKC Champion, 2 UCI National Champions, 2 UCI International Champions. We had a great time and learned a lot our 1st season showing this wonderful breed we call Pekingese.

Our 1st. Show dog was Augustus

Augustus's 1st. ring appearance was September 2nd, 2006 at St. Helens Oregon.

Augustus's first weekend in the ring at 6 Mo. old went well. He won his class on both days and on Saturday Sept 2nd. he also received  Reserve Winners Dog under Judge Ms.Terri Lyddon.  This was Rod's first time out handling  and we were pleased with this showing. Thank you to the Judges Ms.Terri Lyddon, Ms. Sandra Allen and the Kelso Kennel Club.

Augustus's 2nd. weekend was a huge success. Still at 6 months old He received a class win and Winners Dog on Saturday Sept 23,  under judge Ms. Peggy Lloyd. On Sunday Sept. 24 He received a class win, Winners Dog and Best Of Breed Under judge Ms. Denny C. Mounce.  Thank you to the judges for making our 1st month in the ring unforgettable.

Augustus's 8 month birthday falls on same day as the Rose City Pekingese Specialty and he wins his class and Best Puppy in Specialty Show under judge Loraine Boutwell

Augustus's 4th weekend in the ring went very well. He received a class win, Winners dog and Best Of Opposite Sex under judge Dr. Rodger Pritchard for 2 points.

Augustus Wins His 1st. Major  

Augustus ends his 6-9 month puppy class in style with Winners Dog and a 3 point major at the Willamette Toy Dog Show in Vancouver, WA on Nov. 26th  under Judge Mrs. Pamela Peat, on the last day of his 8th month. 

Augustus Wins His 2nd. Major  

Augustus wins his 2nd Major at the Timberland Valley Dog Fanciers show in Centralia, WA on Apr. 7th 2007 with a 12-18 mo. class win, Winners Dog and Best of Winners, under Judge Jean Fournier.

CH Jadewyng's Augustus at Northwind

Augustus finishes his Championship at the Tri-State Kennel Club show,  in Tulsa, OK. with 2 days back to back Winners Dog and Best of Winners. 

He finishes with 4 Majors 2 Best of Breeds, 1 Best of Opposite and Best Puppy in Specialty

Augustus now lives with Heater Hiller of Degray Pekingese where he'll add his touch to their fine breeding program. We'll dearly miss this little guy and will always love him. Augustus sired our 1st Homebred Champion here at Northwind Katering's Pom Pom@ Degray.
