My name is Victoria O’Neal. I am eighteen years old from Dublin, Ireland. Yes, I am Irish. I am starting college and my major is primary education. (Not really a popular choice that I had in mind, but it just happened that way. Don’t ask; it’s a long story!) It looks like you and I are going to be rooming in the Tokyo-Zion Academy dorms during the school year. I got this job as a way to help me pay for college. It’s kind of hard that Tokyo University lets you in through a trial-teaching program if you are foreigner. I took it with lukewarm interest. Still hard to believe that such a program exists. Anyway, my parents weren’t too happy about me working here. They won’t talk to me. It’s just the little silent treatment that they give me to make me behave at times. Hate to burst their bubble, but it’s not going to work this time. I am not a little kid anymore. I’m starting college, for Pete sakes! They need to realize that I have to grow up now. I know what you’re thinking, what the hell is this nut job going on about? I’ll just talk a little bit about myself now.

I like a few things. I am a HUGE fan of writing. I have been writing since I was in junior high. In fact, I want to be a writer so badly. My mum says I should get a real job first and then focus on my writing. (Bah! What does she know? In fact, the primary education major was her idea. I’m only doing it to humor her.) My favorite things to write are letters, notes, and postcards. I have always had an interest in them since I was a little girl. Now, I just write letters to everyone like crazy. It’s fun to do. You should try it sometime. It’s so much fun. I also enjoy reading; hiking, traveling, sailing, fishing, camping and I love me a good road trip. I am just an outdoors girl. Me dad had a hand in that one. I just love nature. I also am a HUGE music lover. My favourite bands and singers are the Rolling Stones, Amy Grant, Dido, Chris Isaak, Sneaker Pimps, the Cure, the Clash, Gorillaz, the Cranberries, and my all-time favorite, U2. Me dad picks on me for liking them. Again, he was the one who got me into them in the first place. Now, I can’t get enough of them. My favourite foods are tofu, chicken, coffee, and all healthy food. Yes, I am a bit of a health nut. My mum’s fault, I’m afraid. She grew up a health nut and now has passed it on to me. That’s the only thing I agree with her on now. I also like my home country, Ireland, nature, Europe, history, the color green, nail polish, art, make-up, spices and lacy underwear.
