Macbeth Movie Draft
Two words: LOW BUDGET. Most of the film looked dubbed. The woman playing Lady Macbeth couldn't act. Apparently, Orson Welles liked New York a little too much because there were too many Statue of Liberty poses in it. The whole set looked like it cost $10.99. Welles added a holy man, showed Lady Macbeth's death, and changed the scenes and acts a bit.
