The people of Oceania really have no freedom at all. Big Brother stalks them, telescreens are in every room, people can't write, people can't think freely, and even parents fear their children because they see the whole thing as a game. Nothing would make me give up my freedom. They would have to send me to jail, torture, and kill me.
