Foot Soldier

If the leader keeps the soldiers well, then the soldiers have to the same for their leader. Such as the case three days after Rob's dark moment. The couple were getting ready for another boring day at class. The mouse noticed his cat packing in two small coffees into her bag. He noticed her doing that every morning. He always wondered why. But, the mouse never thought about asking. Well, that changed today! Rob looked over at Noiz as she was about to head out the door.

"Hey Noiz," the mouse spoke up. The cat paused and turned to him.

"Hm?" she asked. Rob sat up some.

"Why do you coffees with you to work?" he asked. Noiz gave him a semi-serious face.

"Medication," she replied. The mouse looked at her confused.

"Medication for what?" he asked. Noiz turned to him calmly.

"I have Attention Deficient Disorder," she explained. "Or ADD. I don't focus at all during class and so I have to drink these coffees because of the caffeine in them."

"Why aren't you on any meds for that?" he asked.

"Didn't want to be dependent on them," his kitty replied. "I was on drugs before and I wanted off. And I haven't taken them since."

"Ah, I see," the mouse said. Then, there was a knock on the door. Noiz became pretty annoyed.

"What is it June?" she asked aloud. The door opened wide. The assistant looked on surprised.

"How did you know it was me?" she asked in surprise. Noiz rolled her eyes.

"What do you want?" she asked. June became serious again.

"Oh," she said. "Artemis wanted to see you in his office." Noiz and Rob looked at her confused. The cat raised an eyebrow at her.

    "Why?" Noiz asked. June shrugged.

"He wouldn't say," she replied. The, she headed out the door. Noiz and Rob looked at each other confused.

"What does the pig want?" Rob asked.

"You tell me and we'll both know," his mistress replied. Then, she followed after June in a few steps. Noiz came to the office in ten minutes. She looked in and found Artemis admiring himself in the mirror. He thought he was the most handsome man in the world. Noiz just rolled her eyes annoyed. "Oh brother!" she thought annoyed. "Check out pretty boy here!" She pounded on the door really hard. Artemis leapt up startled. He looked out and saw the cat. Noiz was acting as if she had been waiting all morning for him. The pig relaxed again.

"Oh Noiz!" he called. "Come in!" The cat did so silently and sat down. Artemis sat up straighter. Noiz looked at him bored.

"Go on!!!" she demanded. "What was so important that you had to call me away from work?" The pig kept his serious face.

"It has come to my attention that you have ADD," he said. The cat looked at him in suspicion.

"Yeah," she said. "And what of it?" The pig tried to keep from smiling.

"Well the thing is," he said staying serious. "The house policy doesn't cover mental illnesses."

"What?!?" Noiz asked sharply. "Since when?" Artemis just shrugged.

"Sorry," he said. "I'll have the board review your case by this afternoon." Noiz glared at him crossly. "Sure you will!" she thought. "This is just the perfect excuse to get rid of me, isn't it?"

"Rot in Hell Artemis!" she hissed.

"That's nice," he said unfazed. "You can go now." The cat just flipped him off and walked away. She was so getting him for this. Noiz was in a bitter mood for the rest of the day. Her students didn't even bother to ask her what was wrong. They just did their work and kept quiet. The cat kept to herself all day. Her staff knew that something was wrong. Only Rob had the courage to ask her.

"Noiz-sama," he said. "What's wrong?" The cat glared at him coldly. The mouse stood his ground. He knew how to get an answer out of her when she was in a bad mood. Noiz kept her cold stare. The mouse still waited. This was going to be a long battle. After a few minutes, Noiz finally broke down talking.

"It's that pig!" she declared. "He's trying to kick me out!" Rob looked at her surprised.

"Why?" he asked. The cat frowned again.

"Because of my ADD!" she said aloud. *Rob face vaults*

"And why is that?" he asked.

"The pig claims that mental illness is not covered in the policy!" Noiz summed up. Rob's face fell flat.

    "Well that's stupid!" he said.

"I know," the cat replied. There was a short pause.

"So what are you going to do?" Rob asked her. Noiz shrugged.

"Dunno," she said. "I have until this afternoon to make a move." Rob sat back some. His kitty needed his help whether she asked for it or not. After all, she cheered him up from being depressed. He had to think of of somehow to think of something to save Noiz and keep her here. He didn't know what, but he would think of something.

By, ten o'clock an idea came into his head. But, it would need some help. The mouse knew just where to get it. During his break, the mouse took a trip over to Dark Moon House. He knocked on Perry and Shannon's dorm.

"Perry!" he called. "I need to talk to you about something!" The mouse kept on knocking. The door opened wide. Perry looked at his former sensei up and down. A confused look came onto his face.

"Rob-sensei?" he asked. "What are you doing here?" The mouse smirked at him wickedly.

"I'm going to need your help," he said. "Is Shannon in?" Perry looked at him lost.

"No," he answered. "Why?" Rob smiled again. He pushed himself inside.

"Great!" the mouse said. "I'll need your computer and your scanner!" Perry kept looking at him.

"Why?" he asked. The kendo sensei turned to him smiling.

"Oh," Rob replied. "Just a little picture editing." Perry looked at him nervously. He didn't like the sound of that one. The dullard began to think that Noiz was a bad influence on him. But what could he say? Rob was completely enamored by the lovely cat. Nothing could tear them apart.

By lunch time, Artemis was heading to the administration board. He was in a good mood today. June slipped and told him about Noiz's mental condition. He caught her when she was ordering the cat extra coffees for her days. That day was the best for him all the way. But then, some clouds would appear. There was a knock on his office door. The pig slowly looked up.

"Make it quick!" he yelled. The door opened and Rob stepped inside. Artemis gave the mouse a smirk.

"And what do you want, Bob?" he asked aloud. The mouse became annoyed. The pig always got his name wrong on purpose. It was just to annoy him from time to time.

"It's Rob!" the mouse snapped. "And I need to talk to you about something!" Artemis turned to him trying his hardest not to smile.

"Make it quick, would ya?" he asked. "I've got a a council meeting to go to!" Rob stepped forward boldly.

"About that," he said. "Drop this whole campaign to get ruin of Noiz-sama!" The pig smirked at him again.

"And why should I?" he asked. The mouse smirked at him coldly.

"Because," he said. "I have these to give to the council if you don't!" Then, Rob showed Artemis the pictures. The pig looked on in silence. He then, laughed out loud.

"Are you serious?" Artemis asked him. "Nobody's going to believe that's that's me and June there!" Rob smirked at him boldly.

"Not unless they ask you to strip down!" he argued. Artemis smirked back at him. He shoved the pictures back into his hands.

"Get out of here with those pictures!" the pig yelled. Then, he headed to the council meeting. Rob stood there watching him. The plan had sadly backfired. But he wasn't going to quit yet. He needed Noiz-sama! Animal House needed Noiz-sama! Neither could function without her.

By five o'clock, Rob sat in his dorm figuring out what to do next. Then, Noiz walked in smiling. Rob looked up and saw her. He was puzzled at her reaction.

"What are you smiling for?" he asked her. "You're not happy to leave us, are you?" The cat shook her head.

"I'm not going anywhere," she replied cheerfully. Her mouse looked at her confused.

"What do you mean?" he asked. Noiz smiled forward happily.

"As it turns out," she said. "I still have friends in high places. I had to them go interview the council about how things were going in the Japanese private school system. Oh their was graveling throughout the land!" Rob looked at her with a smile on his face.

"So, you're not leaving?" he asked.

"No," Noiz said. "I'm staying here!" Then, she walked over to him and kissed him on the cheek. The cat leaned in close to his ear.

"They can't get rid of me that easily!" she whispered. Then, she kissed him on the cheek and headed into the bathroom for a shower. Rob watched her with a strange little smile on her face. It was true. His sexy unpredictable kitty was here to stay and going to raise Hell while she was here. Just the way he liked it!
