Dark Vampire World

Vampires have always been to topic of choice for monsters and seducers of the night. Dracula can be to blame for this craze. One of the well-known authors on the subject of vampires is Anne Rice. She is well-known for books like, Interview with a Vampire, Queen of the Damned, and Blood and Gold. One cannot think about vampires in popular culture without even mentioning Anne Rice. She gives the reader a finely detailed tour of the vampire world in her books. The whole world is heavily familiar with Lestat, Marcus, Pandora, David, and the rest of her alluring characters. I have loved Anne Rice since my mom has introduced me to her. Years later, I still love Rice’s works to the fullest. I want to take a closer look at everything that Anne Rice has ever done. One thing in particular that has caught my attention is the themes that she writes about.

I plan to look at the themes in all of Rice’s books. Aside from vampires, she seems to give off an erotic flavor to her books. Love and betrayal are also strong in Rice’s novels. They all seem like normal themes, but she writes them in a deeply charming way. Her work has inspired to write my own alluring vampire stories. To me, her work is an important piece of modern culture. I feel that I have to learn more about her works if I want to become a better writer myself.

Her books will be my primary resource. Yet, I know that will not be another. I will have to look up essays, guides to her works, and anything else I can find in the library. I will do my best to find out all about Mrs. Rice through works.
