Jamie grew up in Carp Lake, Michigan. She attended Lake Superior State University where she graduated in December, 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Parks and Recreation and an Associate's degree in Natural Resources Technology. She enjoys outdoor activities and is pursuing a career in the field of natural resources and recreation. Jamie is an only child; her parents, Robin and Dan, reside in Carp Lake and operate a construction business.
ABOUT NICK
Nick grew up in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He has worked for the United States Coast Guard for six years, and is currently stationed in Chatham, Massachusetts. Nick enjoys hunting, fishing and motorcycles. Nick has two sisters, Janelle and Crystal. His parents, Larry and Linda, reside in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
HOW WE MET
Nick and Jamie currently live in Yarmouth, Massachusetts. They met in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, during the summer of 2005 while she was a university student and he was stationed in the area. They began dating in December of that year when they re-met at a social gathering of friends. Just over a year later, on New Years Eve, they were engaged to be married. They plan to be married on Mackinac Island in June, 2008.

ABOUT THE BIG DAY
We hope to be married at the Little Stone Church on Mackinac Island during Lilac Festival. The wedding reception will be held at Audie's Restaurant and Lounge. We will make further announcements as plans are made.
