Remembering Nick

Nick was such a sweetheart. I know that is sometimes over used. His friend Holly said it best
"Nick was the biggest sweetheart that I have ever met. He was a kind and gentle soul and was the kind of person who would have done anything for a friend in need... He was a simple, beautiful man with a heart of gold who was always there for you, and if he was alive today to hear me say all of this, and so much more that I could of him, he would simply respond something like "ah, thanks that's so nice but I'm not all that perfect." He was humble, he was kind, and he was gentle. He was heart. He was loved.and my favorite description "...he always reminded me of spring and summer...

His smile was one of a kind. We used to tease him that he had the wors most beatiful lips, they didn't even sell a shade of lipstick to compare to the natural color of his lips!

His laugh was the best, as soon as he started laughing, you had to laugh too, even if you had no idea what he was laughing at.

I remember one time when Nick was about 3 or 4 we were camping at Alleghany State park. I had told Nick I was thirsty and I wanted to get some pop, but he had other ideas. he hopped on his bike and went up to the store a few hundred feet away, and brought back a 6 pack of Hires Root beer. To this day, I have no idea how he managed to get it! It cracks me up to remember it because that is exactly how he was until his last day, anything for anyone.


He took pride in being a good son, brother and friend! I miss him terribly!
