On behalf of the 15 Leagues in District 11 we welcome your support in being a sponsor for the Little League Baseball State Tournament in 2006. Plans are already in motion to make this years tournament one of the best ever, a task that can only be achieved with your help. We hope you are as excited as we are. This is an opportunity that only happens every 21 years and we intend to make the tournament one that is unparalleled. To that end, we want to raise the bar in such a way that it will set the benchmark for other tournament hosts to follow. In that regard, while Neptune Little League has been chosen to host the tournament. It will be a joint effort by all leagues, volunteers and families in district 11.
At the 2006 Tournament we will have a tent available for sponsors to display their wares, interact with the families attending the games, set up exhibits and take advantage of offering "Free Giveaways" to the players and their families to promote your organization as a proud sponsor of Little League Baseball. If not as a major sponsor, perhaps taking an ad in our Journal, and in some instances selling your product during the week of the tournament. In any case for further information please feel free to contact either myself, Tom Freda, President of Neptune Little League, or any Tournament Staff Member.
To "kick off" the tournament we will have a banquet, tentatively planned for the Waterview Pavillion located in Belmar. The dates for the tournament are July 27 thru August 1, 2006. The banquet will be on the 27th and the games will begin on the 28th. We have provided an information sheet which explains the prices for tent rental space, add journal, and arrangements regarding fees for selling items at the tournament. It is our intent to make this event a "Family Affair" with several vendors dealing with Health, Financial, Safety, Educational Funding, Travel, Lodging and just fun issues to name a few. Some of the major sponsors who I contacted at the Little League World Series this year that would like to participate are: Coast Honda, Snickers, Sams Club, Choice Hotels, Sunkist, Wilson, Investors Savings Bank, Dunkin Donuts, NSTEP, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Capri Sun, League Direct Sporting Goods and AIG insurance, PNC Bank, to name a few. If you are interested in an exclusive agreement for your company, please contact us as soon as possible.
Once again, thanks for your support of Little League Baseball, the worlds largest youth sport organization serving over 2.7 million kids Nation Wide in over 105 Countries.
