About Us |

The purpose of this organization, organized by Twins and for Twins in 1986, is to promote the spiritual, social and intellectual welfare of Twins and multiple births throughout the State of Nebraska.
In order to qualify for membership in this non-profit organization, a person must be one of a multiple birth and shall pay annual membership dues.
Annual membership dues are: Adults, $12.00 per twin; children up to 12 years of age, $5.00 per twin.
The Nebraska State Twin Convention is held annually on the third full weekend of October.
The location of the convention is usually located in central Nebraska (Hastings, Grand Island or Kearney).
Some feel that the highlight of the convention is the Twin Judging Contest held on Saturday afternoon. Catagories for the contest vary from year to year. Catagory examples include, Most Alike Identical, Most Alike Fraternal, Most Unlike Identical, Most Unalike Fraternal and Most Alike Boy/Girl Twins, etc.
Twins are encouraged to dress alike for the convention . . . but it isn't required!
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Nebraska State Twin Association, please email us with your address and phone number. Our association mails a fall Newsletter in September, and will also be posted on the website. The Fall Newsletter contains information regarding registration for the upcoming convention along with prices of meal tickets and entertainment for Saturday nights Banquet, as well as Sunday's brunch guest speaker.
