LORD JESUS CHRIST THE MESSIAH kjv revelations one-seventeen an eighteenAnswer: Yes :: Jesus Christ did address homosexuality as well as all other sexual sins.
He did it in such a way that summarized all sexual sins in a one-sentence commandment that confounded the wise men of the Pharisees, Saducees, and Scribes.
Further, Homosexuality in and of itself was a basic given, as sin:: it was highly regarded by all normal standards as sin against ALMIGHTY GOD in this era of time and was never really necessary to present as a question or even for challenge; because it was not just sin but highly regarded as abomination {something that ALMIGHTY GOD detests with the utmost dissatisfaction}.
So therefore any question concerning homosexuality had an obvious answer. {-->back then; today is different}.
Note: for this discussion we adhere to the Authorized King James Version of the HOLY BIBLE only!
We begin in the Book of St. Matthew the nineteenth chapter and the 4th verse.
Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
{I want to just pause briefly to direct your attention to the fact that JESUS is not authorizing homosexuaility here but male and female relationships only!}
And said for this cause shall a MAN leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
{[All scripture used in this discussion comes from the Authorized KING JAMES VERSION of the HOLY BIBLE only! in order to maintain consistency of thought and purpose]}.
Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore GOD hath joined together, let no man put asunder.
| (7)They say unto him, Why did MOSES then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---->okay I want to pause again to make a note of three facts surrounding this question posed to JESUS by the Pharisees, Saducees and Scribes.... (i) Moses did, in fact write that they were authorized to write a bill of divorcement or put a wife away. {we have to go back to the old testament scripture in Deuteronomy the twentyfourth chapter and first verse: to see it, however; where they are referring to the law, as it is written at the time.} (ii) putting away and divorce, are one and the same thing. {and according to HIM, it is not allowed except when the marriage itself constitutes a fornication or {sin}: that's right! the marriage itself can become a sin against GOD!} (iii) Another huge offense towards JESUS arises from the fact that; he now declares {in his reply},that HE himself is greater than even MOSES; by correcting the commandment. Thus correcting them all concerning the law of GOD; something that they all see themselves as experts in, and purveyors of.---->stay with me.... |
8.) He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
Moses obviously had to deal with some very bitter and contentious families on both sides of the marriage and he could see how hardened, people had become to the original law which JESUS points to in the beginning.
The beginning; is what JESUS says is critical here; male and female; no homosexuality is expressly authorized or alluded to as fundamental, wholesome, or even recognized as valid by Almighty GOD.
*** 9.) And---> I <--- say unto you, WHOSOEVER SHALL PUT AWAY HIS WIFE, EXCEPT IT BE FOR FORNICATION AND SHALL MARRY ANOTHER, COMMITTETH ADULTERY: AND WHOSO MARRIETH HER WHICH IS PUT AWAY DOTH COMMIT ADULTERY.
This was somewhat of a change from the law they were taught in their seminarys and pedagogue doctrines. It also manages to create a kind of riddle for them that they are now confounded by.
It further becomes a correction of the commandment and a correction of what MOSES had written.
JESUS CHRIST the Messiah expresses this commandment, with an authoritative demeanor, that also catches them all by surprise.
Some of them are personally guilty of violating the commandment in this present form and are convicted, insulted, and deeply offended.
The wise men among them could clearly see that the MESSIAH had outwitted them with this small dialogue, where the MESSIAH had basically summarized all of those commandments written in the old testament into this one small, but very articulate law.
And some even feared him because of the outward wisdom of it all.
Divorce is clearly not an option here, for HOLY MATRIMONY. The idea of a second marriage becomes; in and of itself, classified as sin.
This was and still is today regarded as beyond reason, by most practical standards. Todays modern day Pharisees believe the identical things characterized by the Pharisees of that era that confronted JESUS, using the exact same interpretations of the law and the commmandments as they did.
Believe it or not even the disciples of Jesus reasoned that the way he put the law and commandment forth in this way, was extraordinarily harsh.
EXCEPT IT BE FOR FORNICATION: Let's say a man wants to marry his own daughter, or a woman wants to marry her own son. These actions constitute sin or {fornication}which covers the broad array of sins however you may depict them.
Let's say a man wants to marry a beast of the field, which was also clearly listed as fornication in the old testament commandments. The law allows fornication to be "put away".
You may Divorce sin or fornication {this is the exception} but you may not divorce your husband or your wife! is the outcome of this newly specified commandment set forth by the MESSIAH, irregardless of how harsh it seems; this is the way it is!
Let's now say a man wants to divorce or put away his wife and marry another man! { this sounds ridiculous to some of us and is obvious sin}.
But wait!, today we have Bishops of certain Christian denominations being appointed as heads of Churches who have committed this very abomination!

If a woman wants to marry another woman we get the same classification of a marriage that in and of itself constitutes ADULTERY! Because the sin or{ fornication} is still present in this makeup.
LEVITICUS the eighteenth and twentieth chapters and DEUTERONOMY the twenty third chapters in the Old Testament paints a clear picture of GOD's position on Homosexuality with specific clarity.
THOU SHALT NOT LIE WITH MANKIND AS WITH WOMANKIND: IT IS ABOMNATION
THERE SHALL BE NO WHORE OF THE DAUGHTERS OF ISRAEL, NOR A SODOMITE OF THE SONS OF ISRAEL.
In the text a sodomite is a homosexual so, in other words no gays or lesbians in the Church!
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman both of them have committed an abomination: they shall be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
In the Book of Matthew the eleventh chapter and twentythird verse we see JESUS CHRIST the Messiah uses some pretty strong terms towards the Scribes, Pharisees and Saducees in certain areas. He uses the word SODOM to address homosexuality and to illustrate the significance of the works of miracles he had performed.
.....And thou Capernaum which art exalted unto, heavan, shalt be brought down to hell; for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in SODOM, it would have remained until this day.
Note the significance of the story of SODOM and Gomorrah of the old testament stories, are referred to by the MESSIAH as authentic, both towns were destroyed by fire and brimstone because of homosexuallity practiced in the towns in the days of Lot and Abraham.
But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of SODOM in the day of judgement, than for thee.
Notice here how that the WORD of GOD and JESUS CHRIST has already judged!
| The common mis-interpretation of the modern day Pharisees: IF HE the husband or OR SHE the wife commits a sin against --->{me}: THEN I CAN DIVORCE! THIS FALSE REPRESENTATION OF THE LAW OF GOD IS DELIBERATELY INTENDED TO JUSTIFY HOMOSEXUALITY, POLIGAMY, BEASTIALITY, INCEST AND ALL OTHER FORMS OF FORNICATION AND ABOMINATIONS AGAINST GOD. There is no other objective for anti-Christ doctrines like this, other than to destroy the truth of the commandment of GOD, so as to allow as perfectly legal or to authorize all forms of fornications, abominations and other forms of filth in the earth so as to fully justify them by deliberately using the WORD OF GOD in vain.
