CONTENT Vs. Presentation

When seeking the opinion of presentation vs. Content it is quite close to Nature Vs. Nurture. Both are needed in a delicate balance without one of either component the machine cannot properly function. With that being said it is important to figure out how to balance your content and how to give the presention of said content. I believe that Betty Boop World does a wonderful job of balancing the content with the presentation.

They have worked their wordy content around a pleasant presentation. If you click on a like about Betty's history, it is evident that the reader will more than likely not be amused by colorful pictures. It is a page of her historical content so the reader should expect mostly words. The same goes for sounds and pictures... it is very cut and dry but a well laid out, easy to navigate, pleasant page to look at.

Although this cite (CLICK ALREADY!) has its reasons for laying out information the way it does... it still doesn't make it a pretty page. There are just columns of lists, it seems to go on and on and honestly even searching for some of those items I would get bored, and or distracted. This type of layout for page content can make one lose focus and interest. Maybe the should have dones a left hand frame page at about 20 percent? maybe 40 so that they could have their items listed in a more attractive way to the viewer.

In true style of the rest of this week...I tried and failed to put a movie clip on the page. Apparently my Plug-ins were fine... my computer could not download a clip ... I'm guessing due to a lack of memory. I should have asked for help before the absolute last minute.
