META Tags are very helpful for any professional web-page designer; they help ensure that their clients’ web advertised product may be seen through random searches, brief descriptions, and key words. Without META Tags it can be very difficult to for possible consumers to find your clients page, let us not forget: though we may advertise a product or a skill for someone else we are still advertising for ourselves through work. Henceforth META TAGS are a wonderful support to the professional web-page designer.
Secondly the reason I most like META Tags is that it makes it easy for one to “GOOGLE!” I am on a web-page that happens to use it and I GOOGLE myself all of the time. When somebody can walk up to you and say, “Hey Chuck! I GOOGLED you the other day nice picture… and I didn’t know you were so nifty with a web-page… I’ll have to have you do some work for me sometime.” This is the apex in one’s online career that let’s one know … the big times are here because I WAS GOOGLED.
For the regular Joe Blow and Jane the bar Wench who just like to create web pages for fun and friends, there really is no need for META TAGS. It is all a matter of profesionalism, need, and convenience.
