Ingredients For Your Cinna_Tillas

Preparing Your Cinna_Tillas

  1. Take out at least two of your flour tortillas and place them on a napkin; have a butter knife and your room temperature ¼ butter waiting on the counter.
  2. Slice a thin pat of butter and gently spread it over each tortilla. Use as much butter as is to your liking.
  3. NOTE:For Beginners the use of a table spoon is strongly suggested for applying the sugar.
  4. If you are an expert with pastry type dishes feel free to tip your sugar bowl and gingerly sprinkle the suger over each tortilla in a zig-zag type motion.
  5. You will know this has been executed perfectly is the zig-zag patter shows from the sugars sticking to the butter.
  6. Next you take your cinnamon and sprinkle in a zig-zag motion contrasting that of the sugars zig-zag which will be evident in the opposing lines showing up against one another. This helps to ensure that your sugar and cinnamon have been evenly spread out.
  7. Carefully place both tortillas on a cookie sheet then into your preheated 350° oven.
  8. After your 3 to five minutes of baking for done remove the crisp Cinna_Tillas from the oven.
  9. It is quite normal and delicious for the tortillas to bubble while baking, I cannot stress this enough EMBRACE THE BUBBLE! This will be the most delicious part of your Cinna_Tilla.
For those of you who like a chewier snack just let your cook for 2 or 3 minutes and you can taste the butter and the melted sugar on a lovely chewy tortilla shell.
