Frames can be a very useful component to webpage design as well as a confusing one. Frames using frames with the wrong site content or with a design that does not compliment it can break down any attractive attributes your site may have.
On my way to making the webpage I had the "brilliant" idea of adding a set of horizontal frames,(more appropriately called row). When I did a test page to see how this would come out, it was not a pretty picture.
While on this journey I turned on my Real Player and saw... yes you guessed it has multiple frames being used very tastefully. But how many of us create music pages in need of multiple frames sectioned off for specific purposes? The honest answer is more than likely no one in this class other than David. *Laugh People it's funny* Seriously though to take a serious look at how much attention to detail and patience one might need take a look at this page. For those of you who do not have real player, just try out the free version and see all of the frames that are so neatly placed together.
Another example of professional restraint with the use of frames is The West Hills BlackBoard site.
Go ahead classmates log-on and take a quick notice to the frames neatly placed on the page in a way one could barely notice that they are there. In the hands of an ameture it using frames might be like make up in the hands of a 5-year-old, very clownish and unorganized.
