Long Time No Post!!
Mood:  d'oh
Well, I havent slacked off on training, I just havent been able to post because there was some error problem with the site and I got sick of trying to sign-in w/o luck...but voila! It seems to be fixed now!!

So, Bounce has been doing well in her Utility training, articles are coming nicely both indoors and out with full mixed piles. She still has trouble on glove #1 for some reason but I know the brilliant little black bean will get-it eventually and become more confident with that blasted glove one, lol. Go-outs are coming along, we have yet to add any directed jumping because its not good enough to put together w/ additional parts of the ex as of yet., nor have we worked the directed jumping seperately, but we will soon!!!

So more recently, as in TODAY, we went to a one day USDAA trial. It was quite the early morning and NONE of us were too thrilled with rising that early!! OMG! We had to get up at 4am and we left before 5am..Can we say Y-A-W-N??? Anyhoo, rain held off for gamblers class and both Reddi and Bounce Q'd. Reddi also got a placement & completed her P1 Gamblers title today w/ that Q. Then we ran standard, rain did NOT hold out for us for standard class, luckily for me, Bounce ran early in the class so she didnt get the opened up skies nor a totally soaking wet chute or table to down on, tho' it was wet and raining for our run. I dropped her a bunch of times in the wet grass before our run to pre-soak her little bare boxer belly;-) She Q'd and finished her P1 title w/ that run, now onto PII/advanced next week;-)Reddi was second to last dog in class and she got the REAL rain and wet wet stuff..and mud..and puddles....and the fabric on the chute "totally" detached from barrel when she rocketed thru and she started to try to keep running IN the fabric taking it with her then tangling up. I was running over to try to get her outta there and as soon as myself and the judge made it over to the chute material and her..she popped out the end like squishing a tube of toothpaste totally uneffected from the detach-n-tangle event so I tried to quickly redirect myself to hurry up & continue on w/ the rest of the course with her!!! We finished it, and she ran clean! Ended up w/ her first P1 standard leg and a 1st placement...even tho' the chute tried to eat her! Thank dog that wasn't Bounce!!! She would've been horrified as she has always been leary of chute monsters anyhoo. If I could've put a cartoon bubble over Reddi's head it would've said something like " Hey!! Who put this big superman cape on me?!?!?! Get it off and get it off NOW..its slowing me down for cripes sake!!!" lol. We ended up scratching snooker runs as it was just not looking as if it was going to let up..and man was it coming down!! So we opted to pack up early and take off for home, I am sooo glad we did, we were all pooped from getting up at that ungodly hour, theyre use to their lounging morning dog beauty sleep, snicker. And me, I like my sleep too!;-)
