Aust. Ch. Mjosa Syldaz Chloe
Chloe
had a very successful show career. She was the first French
Bulldog in South Australia to be awarded best in group, also she was
challenge bitch and best of breed, defeating her litter brother Aust.
Ch. Mjosa Syldaz Chester, at the Adelaide Royal show 1992. She went on
to be placed third in group, with an entry of 473 dogs in the
non-sporting group, the judge being Mr Andrew Brace of the UK
Another
significant win was Runner-up in Show, and Junior in Show at the
French Bulldog club's championship show in 1992, the judge being Mr
Cyril Bernfeld of Conneticut USA. Mr Bill Stevenson, formerly of the
UK, Apocco Deodar French Bulldogs, gave her best in group, junior in
group.
During
the time that I had her, she attained 21 best of breed, 2 best in
groups, 8 runner up in group, 16 classes in group, one Best in Show, 4
Runner-up in Show, and 12 classes in Show. All this in less than two
years. Her new owners continued to show her in the Eastern
states with the same success. |

Aust. Ch. Ravanian
Royal Raver
20-Jun-1987 to 20-May-1997
Fawn black mask
A champion of the
past.
I purchased this
beautiful dog from Western Australia. He was the Frenchie in South
Australia who made people realise there was such a breed. I had
been showing Frenchies since 1982 with little success, then Ko-Ko
to his friends, came along. His show record is as follows
11 classes in
group, 1 runner-up in group, 3 best of breeds, 2 classes in show,
3 runner-up classes in show,
All this achieved
when I was the only exhibitor of Frenchies in South Australia.
Fortunately they are now a bit more popular, and other people have
come into the exhibiting of them since 1991. |
