1. ARE FRENCHIES GOOD WITH CHILDREN?

If the children are educated on how to handle and respect them, they are the very best.

2.  HOW MUCH SHOULD I EXPECT TO PAY?

Prices start at A$2000 for pets. The most important thing is that they are placed with people who will love and care for them as they have been since birth. Any person who purchases one of my puppies must reach a certain criteria, then price is discussed for show prospects.

3.DO FRENCHIES HAVE A DOGGY ODOUR?

In a word No. They are a single coated dog and unless they roll in "something" their maintenance is low. Just wrinkles, ears, and bottoms to be checked daily and wiped over with a soft cloth to keep them fresh, I wipe a small amount of petroleum jelly in the eye channels to prevent soreness. They are excellent house dogs for this reason.

4. ARE THEIR TAILS DOCKED?

NO. What you see is how they are born, also, dew claws are not removed.

5. DO FRENCHIES REQUIRE SPECIAL CARE?

YES. Because of their beautiful flat faces, in hot weather they must be kept in cool air-conditioned areas, or they can die from the heat in a very short amount of time.

When it is very cold, they must be kept in warm dry conditions due to their single coat.

As can be seen, the FRENCH BULLDOG is NOT for everyone, people new to the breed must be prepared to have a house dog, this is the only way they thrive, as they love human company.

They are not a breed to be left in kennels, they must have human companionship.

So summing them up, a very special dog for very special people.
