MANSIONS BOGUS BLACKJACK

My Mansion bogus blackjack expirence
Mood:  irritated
First, let me tell you all a bit about myself. My name is Chris and i been playing poker online for many years now. I signed up to play at MANSION Poker about 6 months ago and I have to admit, I had nothing but praise for that company.

They ran a promotion where, if you played 25 hands of Blackjack in their casino section of their software, you would then become eligable for a 5 thousand dollar freeroll poker tournement. I normally dont like to play games of chance, but, I figured i would bet 25 hands at $1 each and then I would get my free entry into this freeroll. Unfortunetly, I went a little wild playing this game of chance and luck (I was betting way more then my projected $1 wagers) and before I knew it, I had wagered $125 on one single hand of Blackjack.

The MANSION Blackjack software started to deal the cards on my $125 single bet wager. I got the five of clubs for my first card and the dealer got the ace of hearts as its first card. My second card was the 7 of spades for a total of 12. The dealers second card was dealt down and i was waiting for my option to take insurance, since it had an ace showing as its first card dealt, but, before i was given this option, the dealers whole card was turned over to declare a blackjack. The funny part of this story is, the dealers whole card was not a face card but, it was another ace, it was the ace of diamonds. MANSION software had its dealer showing an ace of diamonds and the ace of hearts and declared it as a blackjack and took my $125 wager.

I did not play another hand of blackjack and the bogus MANSION Blackjack was still on my computer monitor. I instantly connected to MANSIONS live support staff and informed them of what had just happened. I even did the ctrl alt prntscrn function to capture the picture. I will include the picture at the end of this blog. Thier support staff told me to forward the captured picture to them and that they would get back in touch with me after their casino staff looked into things. Also, Mansion support staff looked into the matter while i was talking to them and they asked me for the identification number of the hand i was disputing, so, i gave it to them. They replayed the hand and everything i stated to them was true, with one exception, instead of the dealer getting the ace of hearts(as what was shown on my screen) they said they got the king of hearts to make it a legitimate blackjack. I also did a reply of the hand, and it was the king of hearts instead of the ace of hearts on the replay, but, on my screen when the hand was dealt, no king of hearts ever was shown, only on the replay of the hand did i see the king of hearts.

I sent along the caption of the two aces on my screen and it shows MANSION Blackjack saying they had a blackjack. I was expecting an easy decision in my favour, and was expecting a full refund of my $125 wager, but, instead i got this reply from them.

MANSIONS reply

Hello Chris,

Further to our recent contact.

The investigation has now been completed. According to our records, the dealer had a blackjack. Our IT department has confirmed that there is nothing wrong with our records, and that at the time that you saw this graphical error, we were not experiencing any technical difficulties.

The pixellation on the two cards that you sent us were smudged and were not linear, which leads us to believe that this might have been a graphical error with your own computer.

You can check this hand by looking into your transaction history.

Due to the facts above, we will not be refunding you with the amount requested. This is the final decision on the matter so no further correspondence is needed over this issue.

However, if you have any futher questions on any other matter, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Kindest regards,

Marije

I am not sure exactly what they were trying to say, as my english is not to good, but, from what i read, they were saying i did something to alter the picture that i had captured. Let me say right now, i didnt do anything to this picture, it was taken and not touched or altered in anyway.

If anyone here has any ideas or any actions I can take against MANSION to recoup my $125 bet, id very much appreciate it.

Now, finally the picture, but, before i post it, there was a glitch of some kind in MANSIONS Blackjack software , because, you will see on my wager that it says $275 bet, but, in reality, it was only a bet of $125. Im not sure why it says this and i am also not sure why it declared two aces as a blackjack lol I feel i was cheated out of $125 and i am just wondering what everyone else thyinks? Please post your thoughts and what actions i might take to recoup this $125. Maybe you think i dont deserve my wager of $125 back and id like to know your reasonings behind that as well. Thanks for taking the time to read this, now here is the BOGUS MANSION BLACKJACK
