If the businesses are losing money, they will see that the cost of fuel will DEFINATELY IMPACT THEIR BOTTOM LINE! They will then stand up against the high cost of fuel and speak out against it as loudly as we do!
WE ARE TIRED OF RISING GAS PRICES!
Let's face it! Without the consumer the economy STOPS! People take notice when consumer spending takes a downturn. They do whatever they can to lure us back into the stores so that the economy keeps moving and big business gets bigger and the government continues to make money. The same can be said for oil producing countries. If we don't buy it, they lose big money!! Just a few weeks ago one of the execs from an American Oil companies retired. He retired with record earnings! Exxon's Lee Raymond's retirement package worth a reputed $400 MILLION! That is more than $100,000 PER DAY!!! Mostly due to the profits that were made within the last few years!! IT HAS TO STOP!!
All over the world countries are being terrorized (yes, I said terrorized) by rapidly increasing gas & fuel prices. We have not curbed our usage of the black gold so the gas companies don't see any reason to drop the price. They believe we will pay whatever it takes to drive our SUV's and luxury cars. So the barrel price goes up over $1 a day and is passed on to us EVERY DAY!!

Memorial Day weekend is fast approaching and it marks the beginning of summer vacations. It also marks a huge increase in fuel consumption and spending by vacationing families.

What would happen if all of America stays home for the 3 day weekend and DOESN'T DRIVE AT ALL!?
Nationwide attention! They will pay attention!
They will panic! The American economy makes an impact worldwide and not spending a penny or buying one gallon of gas will send a message to the world.
We're not asking that you put off doctors trips or trips to the pharmacy, but if you can get these things early please do so!

Stay home beginning FRIDAY MAY 26TH and remain stationary until MONDAY MAY 29TH!
Businesses will demand government do something because it hurts their bottom line!
