Christmas 2005
Christmas in the desert of Arizona is far different from the holidays we spent in Illinois. We miss our children and the traditions we shared for so long. We share new traditions with our friends in Coyote Wash, most of whom are also missing the holidays of the past.
Christmas Day of 2005 was spent with our west coast family. We traveled to Mike and Patty's in Falbrook, CA. For those of you who do not know, Mike is our nephew - Dave's sister Lucille's son. All of Lu and Norm's children, most of their grandchildren and even a great grandson (David- 2 1/2 yrs.) were present. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and the fellowship of all. Dave's brother Richard and his wife Marlene, and Dave and I made the trip from Wellton on Christmas Day, then stayed over in a nearby motel and made the return trip on the 26th.
Mike and Patty are wonderful hosts and provided everything necessary for a very Merry Christmas. We are grateful for the opportunity to join in the joy of the season. We took many pictures and hope you will enjoy seeing some to the family members you may not have seen in a while. We extend our wishes for a happy and healthy New Year. God bless you all.
