Source: A. SCHARNHORSTStaff Writer A 22-year-old Tonganoxie, Kan., woman who died Tuesday afternoon at St. Luke's Hospital may have been stricken with Lyme disease, family members said. Kelly Merando, who had exhibited Lyme symptoms since mid-August, died after life support was removed, said her stepmother, Jann Merando. Doctors did an autopsy Tuesday but did not discover what caused Merando's illness. "I don't know if they'll be able to tell us definitively."
