AGENCY A memorial service for Mr. Logan Kock, who died Sunday morning, July 8, 2001, will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2001, in the chapel of George Funeral Home. Interment will be private. The family will greet friends following the memorial service at the funeral home. Born in New Orleans, a son of the late Charles and Mary Perkins Kock, he attended Yale, was a graduate of St. Paul's School and New York University. During World War II, he proudly served his country in The United States Marine Corps. Mr. Kock had retired as owner of Mortimer Insurance Agency in Greenwich, Conn. He came to Aiken two and a half years ago from Greenwich, Conn., where he had lived since 1975. Mr. Kock traveled overseas extensively and was an avid woodworker, gardener, and golfer. In addition to his wife Rosemary Burke Kock; sons, Logan Kock Jr. and Charles Lachelier; step-sons, Major James A. Finn, Paul B. Finn and Matthew Finn; daughter, Susan Fry; step-daughter, Patricia Landback; and seven grandchildren survive Mr. Kock, age 75.
